What blueprint and engineering drawing sizes can I order?
Our common plan sizes are 18″ × 24″ (ARCH C) and 24″ × 36″ (ARCH D). Other standard and custom sizes are available; send the exact dimensions for pricing. Choose the sheet size specified in your drawing's title block and tell us if you need full-size or reduced copies.
How should I prepare a PDF for plan printing?
Export a legible PDF at the intended sheet size, with all required sheets and the latest revision. Keep dimensions, notes and linework readable. Tell us the page range, final printed dimensions, number of complete sets and whether each set should be bound. If your PDF mixes sheet sizes, identify which sizes to use. If you are unsure about the file, include your question with the upload.
Will my architectural plans print at the correct scale?
Tell us the required printed sheet size and whether to preserve the PDF's original scale. A drawing designed for 24″ × 36″ will not retain its original scale if it is reduced to 18″ × 24″. Avoid choosing “fit to page” when exact scale matters. Use the title block, scale bar or a known dimension to check the finished print before using it for measurements.
Can you print color plans, bid sets and revised sheets?
Yes. We print black-and-white and color construction documents, architectural drawings, engineering sets, site plans, permit sets and bid sets. For revisions, identify the replacement sheet numbers and dates, then specify whether you need only those sheets or a complete updated set. Color can help distinguish marked-up areas and drawing layers.
Is blueprint binding included?
Yes. Select free binding on the quote form when you want your plan sets bound. Tell us the number of sets and the sheet order. Unbound copies are also available.
Where can I pick up plans, and do you offer local delivery?
Pickup is available at Print Boise / International Minute Press, 3612 Overland Road, Boise, ID 83705. We also provide free local delivery to Treasure Valley offices and job sites. Before You Send Your Construction Plans
A clear print request helps us quote accurately and keeps the right drawing version in the field. Use this checklist for a single sheet, a subcontractor's bid set or a complete architectural plan set.
- Check the revision. Send the latest approved files for the use you intend. Identify superseded sheets and keep separate revisions clearly named.
- Specify size and scale. Include the final sheet dimensions. Flag full-size, reduced-size and mixed-size sheets instead of assuming the PDF viewer's print setting is correct.
- Count sheets and sets. For example, 12 sheets in each of 3 sets means 36 printed pages. Include any page ranges or sheets that need color.
- Choose binding and destination. Tell us which sets to bind, your needed-by date, and whether to arrange Boise pickup or free local delivery.
